Dark Canopy...

I went to the bank today forgetting it was a bank holiday...
How come the Bank of Scotland is shut on an English Bank Holiday?

I had a Poundland lunch at the canal side, then took a few photos of the recently revamped tunnel heading down to Alexander Street.
It used to be transparent, but was very grubby, and after experimenting with different ideas, they painted it both sides making it a very dark tunnel. The lighting inside is very poor.

Those granite seats you see represent train buffers as this part of the shopping centre was built on top of an old goods yard. We had a lot of goods yards back in the day, servicing the shipyards and Singer Sewing machine Factory.
