today is summer

We kept ourselves really busy today because we have to go to work tomorrow. This means our new nanny will be starting, Liv will be starting home schooling, and my husband and I go to work. We spent the day doing all of our favorite little routines including a good breakfast, swimming, snacks, popsicles, and bikes. Earlier today Liv told me "today is summer". She wanted to let me know this because it is warm outside. I know that summer will continue and our weekends will resume summer...
We also decided to go get ice cream. Liv got pink, cotton candy ice cream. When we got home we noticed this huge sun flower stalk towering over the lilies. So we cut down the sunflower. Liv thought we should pick all of the sunflowers and bring these inside. We put flowers in vases all over the house.
