Sunflowers

Just a swathe of them along the edge of the field which a few years ago was a mass of golden blooms. A failed crop because of bad weather 2 years ago stopped the farmer from continuing with the business. He was very sad about it but had to consider his own economic status. I had just remarked to hubby that this year would have provided a good crop and we turned into the road to see the display before us.
Aquafit and girly gossip are calling - how can it be Wednesday already?
