Mushrooms!

Thursday 25th July.

Up and out early with my camera and the dogs in Hitch wood as after the monsoon last night I though I may see deer. No!
There was on the other hand a cackle of girls walking a Pyrenean mountain dog- reminded me of Belle, Sebastian and the Horses- (and The White Horses) the shows that helped fuel my love of ponies.
I spotted these mushrooms too- I have been too busy to identify them so any ideas welcome.
After lunch I started to clear my wardrobe of clothes I cannot get into and don't like, then took them to the Hospice charity shop. Quite depressing to see how fat I have got!
I ran errands in town before going back to the dentist for a quick retainer fitting.
I trimmed the hedges (one hour), and am now finding it hard to lift my left arm....it is going to be really sore by tomorrow!!!
The day was very muggy again, the sun playing hide and seek with the clouds, but then at 5pm the clouds cleared, the wind picked up and it was a beautiful evening.
Curry for dinner tonight! I didn't feel like curry- don't know why I go off what I have cooked for the family at the moment- so had a salad with smoked salmon pâté on toast!
