Appledown Way

After days of fog, mist and rain, today we had almost a whole hour of sun and blue skies before it turned back to gloomy weather again. Must be summer, English style! Anyway, it timed itself rather well for me to visit this spot on my way home from work. Appledown Way, on the southern outskirts of Canterbury, leads through some very picturesque fields before disappearing into a slightly less picturesque industrial estate at the other end.
