...there's an exhibition of Lawrence Levy's golf photography at the University of St Andrews Library right now...

In his capacity as official photographer for both the European Ryder Cup Team and The Open Championship Programme and as lead cameraman for Golf World magazine, Lawrence Levy gained access to all the major golfing events throughout the 1980s and early 1990s. Giving an insight into Levy's vast collection of iconic and fascinating images, this exhibition takes us on a journey through the world of golf, featuring classic moments such as Seve Ballesteros' celebrations after sinking a 15-foot putt to win the 1984 Open at St Andrews. Entrusted to the University of St Andrews by the Joseph Levy Foundation, this impressive collection is a must see for all those enjoying golf, both on and off the course.
