2100!

I know; another bus blip! Well, buses are relevant today...and not just because I work on them!

Some news hit the papers today which, although minor, has caused a lot of talk around my depot; this will no longer be truth as of this Sunday! A new route running from Coventry starts up, covering just over 31 miles of road!

I have a sneaking suspicion it could be operated by the biggest bus company in Coventry...NXWM?!

A rival company also got a bit of attention today, but not for praise... Naming no names, this company had a breakdown blocking a main road on my route this evening! Thankfully, despite no official diversion being announced, it was easy to get around!

But that wasn't all! Same company, different bus... Leaving Birmingham I passed an awkwardly parked bus in Digbeth; parked at a strange angle in the right hand lane?! It turned out there was good reason for it being there...the front end was wedged in the railing! Oops!

Ah well! A pleasant end to the shift as mum had walked the dogs down to meet me; third day running! It's nice to see the excitement in their faces when they spy me! Bless!
