Stedy Steve

For the past few weeks, Sophie has been working on a school project to design a mascot for the tortoise from "The Tortoise and the Hare" and today she finished it. His name is Stedy (sic) Steve and he is a snail - in case you couldn't tell! This has been her first major sewing project, and although I helped with the tricky bits, she did most of it herself. Not bad for an 8-year-old!

I managed to sleep last night (with the aid of 10mg of Amitryptaline) and my digestive system seems to have calmed down (with the aid of the Rennie Extras). Went to the doctor, and he prescribed me some more Amitriptyline to get my sleep back on track and some Omeprazole to reduce the acid in my stomach. Feeling much brighter and more comfortable now.

It's been another grey and cold day here, but the sun's out now, and it looks as if it's going to be a nice evening. I might sit out in the garden for a bit and see if I can spot any bats. They're normally zipping about the garden swooping up insects by now, but I haven't seen any so far this year.
