Spirit...

...it has so many meanings?!

A lazy blip because I've got nothing and need to get in some beauty sleep; it's been a good few weeks since having to be up at 05:00 for work...wish me luck!

An easy day at the mobile office today though, with Lew leading my bus in the afternoon... I say leading; he was supposed to be in front of me, but rarely was that the case!

Lew is the perfect example of my interpretation of spirit... While others stress about being late and having to do a substantial amount of work if my job can actually be called work, he never loses his smile! Nothing seems to get him down!

When I grow old and small like Lew, that's how I'd like to be; the smiling fellow who just gets on with life as if without a care in the world! Well, aside from the old and small! Maybe I'm making a good go of it already anyway...?!

On a side note, he and I have a rather unique greeting for each other as we pass. Most bus drivers wave and smile, some just stare ahead blankly because the world has already sucked the spirit out of them... Lew and I give a military style salute!

People must think we've got a few screws lose...for me, they'd probably be right!
