Cashel St - looking east

Taken from City Mall - the diggers are on the site of the Holiday Inn and the Westpac Centre with High St to the right - now there is nothing.

Decided it is time for some "2 years on" images so that I have a record of post earthquake life to look back at in the years to come......and I have linked to an excellent site of 3D views of many buildings to help us remember what we had before.

As I said yesterday, I like to use my lensbaby to soften the effect of the destruction. This makes it 3 days in a row that I have been in City Mall as I really wanted to blip this iconic corner of Christchurch. But I won't go there tomorrow!!
