Back to Basics!

Sometimes, people need to take a step back and do the basics...such as reading what's displayed on a bus before boarding it!

I've been on the same shift for three days now and the old 'third's a charm' saying is well out the window! Parked up at the bus stop in Acocks Green at 10:12 today, the final stop for my bus, as stated on the displays front and side! Six passengers still sat on the bus waiting for me to pull off, three trying to board from the stop?!

Thankfully, the old stress-head I was is long gone! As irritating as this may be, it's part of my job to treat these people with respect. Let's face it; nobody is perfect and everybody makes mistakes, right?

10:17 and I was in the depot taking this shot prior to a small caffeine fix from the local vending machine... Why I still drink the rubbish they try to pass off as coffee is beyond me. And why I ever expected decent coffee for 22 pence a cup is even further afield to reason...

Anyway, I decided to boot up the old Colour Splash App and have a play, as it's getting a little dusty?! I'm quite pleased with the results...

Same shift again tomorrow, then Friday off! What to do with this free time?! Overtime maybe? ;-)
