Ali IV

Today Ali came over to see the flat and stayed for a cup of tea, a good chat and then some studio time! Have I mentioned how much I love having a studio in my apartment?

Obviously we recreated the Queen II album cover - I remembered that my camera wasn't setting off the flashes properly so we adapted and instead this was an "intricate" set up of camera on tripod, improvised black blanket backdrop, long exposure, and manually firing the flashes as Ali moved as fast as possibly into various positions.
Lots of failed attempts. But it was fun! And no more broken lights this time, which is always good news.

In the evening, dinner & wine with Seb, Alex and later Cristina and Wiseman. Another late night but it was relaxing and lovely.
