Just one of those days

Well what a day! I travelled four hours to get to one of our sites, only to find no work taking place.

An unbelievable turn of events worked against me:

The fog descended and it just wasn't possible to work
Our team from the North got stuck in the snow, which lost a few hours and meant a visit to another site where there was some critical activity taking place today
Our quarry decided to cut short our order, so by the time I got there the surfacing had been finished for the day

What can I say? It was just one of those days!

Time to put my feet up in front of the fire and relax.
