Bakewell Farewell

One of the memories that will stay with me from our Bakewell weekend is the rhyme that Ben and Sam have taught George:

Inky pinky ponky
Father had a donkey
Donkey died
Father cried
Inky pinky ponky

He kept saying it in the wrong order, and they'd patiently try and correct him - but I had the sneaking suspicion he was doing it to wind them up. Here is his farewell performance before we set off home.

Spent the morning in the nearby park, where we found small treasures and simple pleasures.

Came to two conclusions: (i) Bakewell is a delightful place to visit, and (ii) long weekends are not long enough.
