A different angle - on Rum

Hurried blip today on my way home from collecting Child who had just completed a sponsored walk from Tobermory to Dervaig in aid of Comic Relief.

I have always like the view at a certain point on the road where the pines and the Rum mountains line up. At this time of year there is a tinge of colour in the birches you don't get at other times of year, and today it had a magical light. I didn't have the long lens on me so it is at a bit of a distance I'm afraid. Eigg is on the right, and fresh snow on the Cuillins. And another solitary ewe for the foreground!

Well done to Child and all the others particularly the Dervaig primary school children who have done this for the third year running.
