The crocus and the bee...

Today has been a fantastic spring day. Woke up to clear skies which was great. I had thought I might go out on my bike but as there was still ice on the pavements in town so I didn't fancy my chances on the back roads out of town. As an alternative i decided to head to the Edinburgh Royal Botanic Gardens for a wander in the sun.

This turned out to be a prety successful outing. Very peaceful walking about the gardens and also managed to fire of some pictures i was retty happy with. This bee was buzzing from flower to flower entertaining itselt and gave me a bit of a challenge chasing it around. I took some other shots of the bee and some of just the flowers which can be seen here.

Heading out to Nando's tonight with some friends. My first visit and I really hope it lives up to the hype :)
