waking up

Liv took a solid nap. We had a solid morning of playing princess. She stayed true to character, Sleeping Beauty, and slept for 4 hours. Normally, i don't think a nap this long is necessary, but she had to rest up for her cousin Lily's gymnastic party this evening. I did convince Liv to keep her princess dress at home.
Liv got home late from the party. She could not wait to show me all of the party gifts she got to bring home. I convinced her that we would play with the toys in the morning. Liv had a rough bedtime...Right before bed she was turning the lights off in her room. She jumped off her chair and hurt her foot. She was very freaked out because her toe ended up bleeding. So we had a mini ER in our bathroom. All in all Liv ended up with 3 band aids, and sleeping in my bed. She was quite dramatic. She kind of limped to bed, then kept her foot on top of the covers. She did fall asleep. I found her sleeping on me a couple of times. She found her normal sleeping positions; perpendicular to me and my husband. Then she would make her way over to me and wrap her arms around my neck. I spend most of the night moving her back to the middle of the bed or trying not to fall out of the bed. It was nice to see that she got to sleep most of the night.
