Cavalier

An adventure to Chatham Historic Shipyard in the freezing cold meant an added realism when touring HMS Cavalier, a Royal Navy destroyer which saw service on the Atlantic convoys. Could have spent hours there, learning how ropes were made and all the history of the Navy but for some strange reason it closed at 4pm. You have to buy a ticket that is valid for 12 months so maybe I will get a chance to go back!

H had to spend a few hours working this afternoon so we spent the rest of the day in her house with sport on the telly and laptops on laps. Nice Sunday.

London tomorrow for what I am planning will be a day of photographic exhibitions, and what looks like freezing temperatures. From the weather forecast it will be warmer in Edinburgh.
