Spring Snow, Kirkton of Bourtie Stone Circle

Woke up this morning to discover a carpet of snow everywhere outside, with more of the stuff falling throughout the morning.

This afternoon, I found myself trudging through 150-200mm of snow as I crossed the ploughed field to capture the dramatic light over Bennachie behind the remains of the Recumbent Stone Circle at Kirkton of Bourtie, Aberdeenshire.
