Peeved...

Yes, I am... My rather beautiful Peavey Vypyr 75W amp, which is less than three months old, has stopped working! Had it been a cheap, no-name amp, fine...but Peavey?! The amp simply won't switch on!

After some very brief Googling I discovered this is a common problem; a blown fuse being the most likely cause. But, Peavey have cleverly decided to solder the fuse to the amp's components...so, it must go back to Peavey for repairs...thanks Peavey!

I'm hoping it has just overheated; my day off work has been all but quiet after all. So, I'll try booting it up in a few hours and see. If not, I'll start by contacting the store where it was bought...

Let's end on a positive note though!

It's still under warranty, so I may be able to just request a replacement or trade for something else...something a little less...Peavey, maybe?

Motivation is still high and I managed to get in a run early this morning. Well, early considering it's my day off...07:00. Aiming to get another in on Friday morning before work too.

Also, been in touch with the DSA and managed to negotiate my way around a system error which has been preventing me from booking the ADI Part 1 test... £90 lighter, but it's booked! Time to revise...maybe...

Happy Days!!!
