Echoes of the Past

Stripping the other end of the lounge now. And cursing anyone who uses woodchip wallpaper on walls to the deepest, darkest, coldest circle of hell.

But underneath the paper and collapsing ancient plaster this rather interesting glimpse from the past of this house. The house was built in 1924 and I'm wondering if this from back then (given the stylish handwriting).

Sadly the last two digets have been erased by the bodgers who lived here before us (believe me if there's part of the house they've NOT done a bodge job on, we've yet to find it!)
