Due to a serious amount of neglect this is the drivetrain that nearly killed me this morning!! The sprokets and chain are so badly worn that in any gear with the smallest amount of preassure on the pedals it will slip and loose all drive with no warning!!
The result of this is that when going up a hill this morning on the way to w0rk it slipped and i nearly ended up on the road in front of moving cars! A scary moment!
I have now bought new components so hopefully this week the bike will be much safer.

A word of advice...... don't EVER let your drivetrain get into the same state as mine.
