Oppression

Castle Coole, Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh. Behind the fence is the old home of one of the Ulster plantation families. I tried to get the idea that it is cold yet majestic. That money and power were kept beyond the reaches of the native folk though oppression of rights and landownership laws. The fence represents the Boundary that once existed but has since weathered away.
