Whitecrook Swan

I took a walk along the Forth and Clyde Canal today, haven't done it for a while. I walked from Whitecrook to Dalmuir. I met a man (he recognised me) that I had only spoken to on Facebook, we had a chat. Then further up, I met a man cutting up old trees for firewood while helping tidy up the environment. He does a lot of voluntary work with various organisations. He was on his bicycle, so it's going to take him a while to shift the tree. I took some photos of him cutting the tree with a bow saw and I am going to send them to him. I took this swan right at the start of my walk. I went in to the Park Bar for a Guinness, then bus home.

Thought for today - It's great the people you meet when you are out for a walk.
