Canada
The belt buckle you see here was given to me when I was a student nurse. An old fella who had emigrated to Canada was a patient on the ward. (He'd had a stroke whilst back in Scotland visiting relatives.) He had made the buckle himself from some stainless pipe and a bolt head. There's a Canadian quarter dollar coin in the centre.
I had forgotten I had it till I moved house a couple of years ago and rediscovered it. The only place I could find who could fit it to a belt was in Wyoming, so I sent it to them a few months ago. I'm quite pleased with the result. The leather is hand-tooled.
Not one to get attached to material things usually, I like this because it has some sentimental value and because a couple of people put some time and expertise into crafting it.
