Somehow, despite it being below freezing, we managed to drag the boys to the park and up the river Rea for a short cycle. I wasn't wearing enough - I forgot that I wouldn't be going fast enough to build up a bit of internal warmth - but luckily Rory needed to seek refuge in the cafe before hypothermia set in.
