Twas the night before Christmas...
I went to work today for a while and the boys had fun at nursery where M made some amazing paintings that I will keep forever (they were almost my blip). I nipped into town to get a few last-minute Christmasy things and then we went home and made chocolate-covered cherries (which was apparently all A talked about all day) and chocolate walnut cherry fudge to bring with us to Granny and Granddad's tomorrow. A loved dipping the cherries -- I let him do most of them -- and they look fantastic and taste great, too.
We then gave the boys an early Christmas gift of new cozy pj's which were as much for us as they were for them. Not the best photo but how cute are they, my two little Christmas mice? A and I carefully prepared a plate with a mince pie and a chocolate chip cookie for Santa (a half-British, half-American offering) and a few carrots for the reindeer, along with a glass of milk (the British tradition is to leave a glass of sherry but, alas, we don't actually have any) and the boys were off to sleep after that.
There will be lots of fun ahead. As an aside, this is my 300th blip. I can't believe it!
