TV Aerial ... with moon

This was one rather unusual outcome of v cold half an hour outside with a just off full moon. I have a bunch of others , but put this up because a) I cannot explain the diagonal flare, and b) there is a rather lovely moon cloud rainbow thingy going on.

Can anyone help explain the flare?
