time for some art

spotted a poster on the u-bahn announcing that it's european month of photography, which means exhibitions in 100 galleries all over the city.

one called "in the blink of an eye" just round the corner from us (on the first floor of the market hall, the building on the left of my photo) turned out to be a fascinating documentary of life in kreuzberg in the 70s & 80s. this place has certainly changed since then! it brought back lots of memories of my more radical days in london, amsterdam & barcelona...
