Movie Night

Exchange of kids early this afternoon with Bob and the Musician now having a sleepover at our house.

It's definitely a lot easier now the girls are older but you slowly feel they are drifting away from you. Even during tea their conversation was more mature/ grown up and they are even starting to get some most of the adult jokes (noticed this watching the films).

Right up until the first movie I hardly seen them as they were out in Bob's workshop, don't know what they were up to but they came in happy.

Whilst sitting on the couch I heard them talking to each other but there was definite echo. Instead of having a conversation face to face they were talking to each other through Skype, I told Bob is she could set it up she could use it (plan back fired a bit and can't believe how quickly they got it up and running - kids and technology).

A parcel arrived today for Bob from a very close and dear friend, to say she was over the moon with both gifts would be an understatement.

Update: Although both girls have came across and really grown up tonight, the belly laughs and chuckles coming from them as we watch one of the films was fantastic to hear, proper unsuppressed laughing without a care in the world.
