Essence of a Long Tailed Tit

One short space of time, there - then gone.
Interesting,it's tail is most still, balancing the head, which is moving.

ISO is silly for the D300 but the lens guzzles light,
flight needs a high shutter speed.

I enjoy the sense of movement -
for me, memories of watching them fill in the details.
