2 - 4 - 1

I got a deal this morning but didn't realize it until much later today. I saw this dandelion out in the field...see it in it's funky field glory HERE. I took tons of pictures, experimenting with the morning sunrise.

I decided to pluck it from the field so that I could bring it home and use my macro lens...see above posted picture....I took another ton of pictures intent on getting as many of those wonderful droplets in focus as I could.

Spent a couple hours processing my dandelion pictures, experimenting with layers, filters, opacity etc. etc. But something about the pictures was nagging me...something was just not right. Finally I clued in...the things on the stems aren't leaves...dandelions don't have them there...what is it? So back I look at my pictures and I see bugs...many bugs! I can't believe I did all that and never noticed them!!!! Observant or what?!

So I lucked in with this image and got a 2 for 1 deal, drips and bugs in one picture! Will have to keep a sharp eye out for more bargains in the future.
