Crown No1

It was a public holiday here is Brisbane today. I went into work for half the day to get some stuff done without disturbances, had a nap in the afternoon, practiced my guitar scales and did some work on the wood stove I am restoring. This is the finished product for where I was the other day. Its function on the finished stove will be to catch ash from the fire. Not a very glamorous part of a wood stove but on this stove it will be a well finished one. It has taken me 5 days to complete. It even has insulation in the cover to stop the brass knob from getting too hot.
