Vintage

One of the things that's interesting about doing the weekly 2012challenge is that it makes me look at things I'd never otherwise contemplate. Like this window of 'The Ballgown', a shop that I imagine few places apart from Oxford could sustain. It claims to have over 1,000 ballgowns to buy or hire. I've never worn a ballgown and would probably fall over if I tried one on, just at the thought of the high heels it would require, so it was a novelty to pay attention to this shop in search of 'vintage'.

In the end, though, I rejected the deep pink ballgowns in the adjacent window in favour of the fabric of the dress in the background. Almost certainly the same vintage as me.
