Whitby Abbey...

Well that's another week over and one closer to retirement! Lol

It's been a great week both at work and on Blip! I've discovered RAW format as you know and merging 3 exposures (HDR) and this evening it was a trip to Whitby Abbey which is a ruined Benedictine abbey overlooking the North Sea on the East Cliff above Whitby in North Yorkshire, England. It was disestablished during the Dissolution of the Monasteries under the auspices of Henry VIII. Established in 657 AD, Disestablished 1538, Mother House was Fountains Abbey, Diocese of York.

I still have two day's worth of blips to catch up and by the end of the weekend I will be there! I simply can't thank you all enough for your encouraging comments, rating and compliments it really is quite uplifting and we've gone from Monochrome, sepia and colour from town, countryside to coastal. From jpg to RAW from one exposure to three. I've totally enjoyed the diversity this week and look forward to what I can offer in the weeks to come...

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend and until my next offering "Carry on Blipping!" :-)
