Purpose...

The view across the depot...it seems much bigger when you look down on it!

Today I tried to hunt down management regarding my temporary role as 'Assistant CCTV Operator,' and how the task I've been set is fruitless, mainly because the people feeding through information to me are not logging it properly! So to sum up, my task is without a real purpose...

So, after speaking to the Assistant Operations Manager, I'm returning to my usual duties behind the wheel. Put simply, I'd rather do a sometimes stressful job with purpose than a stress free job without any sense of purpose; ironically I find it more stressful on that basis!

Tomorrow I'm the 7am show-up driver, since no actual work was available, as well as finishing off my two weeks covering for a holidaying driver; roll on 6:30pm! One major plus is that the next two paydays are going to be very pleasing for my bank balance!
