Binnenhof

Our first morning in The Hague. We had a very lazy morning, and an extended breakfast. Much enhanced by a couple of glasses of champagne with breakfast. This could certainly be a habit I could easily adopt on a regular basis.

After breakfast I braved the rain to collect a few odds and ends from the car, after which we went to the city centre. This included a visit to the Binnenhof, the Parliamentary complex of The Netherlands. I have aways liked this fountain which is in an open space in front of the Great Hall (Ridderzaal) where the Queen makes her annual speech.
