Sand castles?

The new towers are coming together quite nicely. They arrived from Germany semi-assembled and have to be dug and manoeuvred into place, bolted together and fitted out before concreting-in. Unfortunately there is a thick layer of rocks to dig through under the sand. Can't lean on my spade this time!
