The Green River

We are spending the weekend at the cottage.  This is the first time in too long that the temperatures have been warm enough to go for walk, - 9 celsius feels like a heat wave.

The Green River looks blue here and with the white snow, I thought it looked very pretty.  Although the water isn't frozen over here, up the river the other way where our cottage is, there is no open water.  We are without running water this weekend. The water line has frozen for the first time in 10 years that we've been here.  So not very convenient but we managed.

We got together with my father, my sister, her husband and friends to watch the group Foreigner. Lots of fun.  We are also celebrating my nephew's, my father's, my sister's and niece's birthdays this week …happy birthday and lots of love to them all.

By the way, that little dot high up in the sky is the moon.  I didn't notice it until I looked at my pictures it's so tiny.
