Composition No 610 - Heatwave

In Scotland we have occasional days in summer when the tar on the roads melts. In fact during the heatwave of 2002 an Aberdeenshire highway turned into a sticky river, trapping cars and completely ruining tyres.
Today was particularly hot with even the road signs melting in the mid afternoon sun.
