Hellebore

Rather a dull and bleak afternoon.
I took the dogs out to look for a blip, but in the end a tour of the garden was more encouraging.
There are winter aconites, and pink Pulmonaria, and several hellebores leaping out of the freezing ground.
No bumblebees visiting them yet, but I feel optimistic.
