Poppies from The Tower

130 poppies from the Tower of London WW1 installation are on temporary display at our local museum. Each poppy represents the life of a victim of The Bombardment of our town which happened on December 16th 1914. There are other artefacts on display - all a poignant reminder of a dreadful occasion.
