Happy New Year!! / Frohes Neues Jahr!!

I wondered up to the top of the hill hoping to take a picture of the spectacular fireworks let off each year on New Year's Eve in Würzburg. Sadly dense fog and drizzle put a dampner on the evening. The normally brightly illuminated castle and old town could not be seen at all and as soon as the fireworks got going the visibility got even worse.

So instead you have a picture taken from my balcony when we got home :-) I'd like to wish you all a "Happy New Year "/ "Frohes Neues Jahr" On the whole 2014 was a good year, and I hope it was for most of you too. I'd like to raise a glass to 2015, may it bring joy, happiness and good health to you all!
