CAN ANYONE WHO HAS GOT A MAC HELP????

Got a huge problem I think, I keep getting a message popping up saying my start up disc is nearly full. I've deleted what I can off the hard drive and this leaves me with about 700kb. I've also moved most of my pictures onto an external hard drive.

Then when I'm working in photoshop I tried to save and a message came up with your scratch disk is full. Does anyone know what I need to do. Any help would be much appreciated.
