Fountains Abbey - A Room with a View

What a fantastic day to end my holidays on! Spent the day at Fountains Abbey. It was extremely busy, so you will appreciate when I say blipping was a challenge "It was a blipping challenge!" lol

Out of the 144 shots taken - only 2 had people in them!! I waited what seemed for eternity, patiently for day trippers to get out of my way lol. Got some seriously cracking shots so it was very difficult selecting just one! So the others will be linked tomorrow once I have shortlisted :-) (Look through the BIG window)

I take my hat of to National Trust for the maintenance that goes on at their historical sites to preserve them and make them such enjoyable places to visit. My membership is worth every penny!

I have to say, that I have somewhat been extremely lucky with the weather, everywhere I went the sun followed and yet I was getting reports that there was monsoons, hail storms, snow, so to say that today was Friday the 13th - it's was a great day for me. Thank you for following my last two weeks of holiday blips - back to work next week and back to work blips too.
