Hope

I do hope that I look this happy after the thyroid surgery is done and behind me. In the meantime, this little treasure has been such a blessing to me. She has started saying, "Thank you . . . so much," whenever I give her something, especially something she really wants. It blesses me each time I hear it.

I am really sorry for being so absent from blip for so long. I've been busy working on finishing my clients' photos before my surgery . . . and on that note, the surgery date has changed. Last week, I received a call from the surgeon's office, letting me know that she had broken her hand and would not be able to perform the surgery. So, they rescheduled with her colleague, who I will meet tomorrow, for surgery on the 28th of February. Upon first hearing the news, I was so disappointed, because I really wanted to have this behind me, but within a few minutes, I was filled with a sense of relief and peace, knowing that this was the right thing. I now know that I really would have struggled to finish my clients' photos in time for the other surgery date, and am thankful for the extra week to finish everything.

So, because of all the work, I just couldn't justify blipping or even visiting your journals. I apologize for that, but I also know you all understand. I still don't have time to stop by, but really hope that catching up on your journals will be something fun I can do while recovering after the surgery. I still have one more job to finish before, but I'm almost there!

I've backblipped a few of the days I missed, with more backblips to come later, once I'm done with work. In any case, if you have time, my backblips start with the 13th of February. Thanks again to you all. I cannot fully express my gratitude for your caring and kindness. Love to you all.
