Occupying a large unoccupied space
I was walking across the Meadows in Edinburgh taking the usual photos such as the early spring flowers. Then I saw the Occupy Edinburgh tents and was struck by the incongruity by the lack of occupation - there was no-one around at all.
I have a lot of sympathy for the Occupy movement and I think the inequalities in our society are unacceptable. But I really don't see the point of occupying a large park, without actually talking to anyone.
And I am puzzled why they didn't camp a bit nearer to the toilets.
