Traumatic Break

Had a wee walk in the Botanics today...this was one of the victims of the storm.

A lovely smell in the air, but having just been listening to the Ents in Lord of the Rings, it seemed tragic to see so many beautiful trees destroyed.

It seems strange since this pine timber isn't so different to the timber you get in B+Q, but then I guess it all a matter of context.

Bought a Weight Watchers cookbook today and made healthy Pad Thai for supper. Very good, though the recipe didn't include either fish sauce or lime juice, neither of which have a points value...so I added them.
