Tomorrow I'm off up north to fetch my father down for Christmas. I'm sorting him out with a new computer and when I'm there I'll need a switch to transfer data from the old one to the new one.
Last time I was there the hub I took with me was playing silly beggars so I thought I'd test it again before I used it. It works okay but get's confused with encrypted data like SSH or TLS/SSL, so I quickly swapped it for a switch - a fast switch - if you will pardon the pun. The new switch works okay. I thought with the lights it looked pretty and it was worth having a go blipping it to test the Macro setting on my compact camera.
It's hardly artistic or exciting, but it's a blip, and it makes a change from a Christmas decoration, which has been my theme this month!
Tomorrow I do battle with Virgin Trains...
