aw, poor baby...

found this wee fella on the footpath on the way to work today - think he must've been stunned or scared by something, as i got the camera to within an inch of him and he didn't so much as flutter a wing. i picked him up and tucked him under a hedge, hopefully he'll recover enough before one of the many cats in the street find him. never seen a bullfinch round here before, let alone got this close!
